Blog 10 - Interview 2 Reflection

  • Please explain how you are spending your mentorship time (Is it at a workplace or somewhere else?  Are you shadowing?  Are you able to do tasks that are meaningfully related to the topic?  If so, what?  Are there other people who are experts in the location?  Etc...)
    • How I am spending my mentorship time is by observing trials and conferences about claims. There really isn't a lot for me to do, other than just watch and observe.
  • How did you find your mentor?  How did you convince this person to help you?
    • My mentor is actually my aunt. The way I convinced her is by explaining what the project was and what I had to do. She was very impressed and said she would be my mentor.
  • How would you rate your comfort level with your mentor at this point in your relationship?  How does this relate to the time you've spent so far at mentorship/with this person
    • I would rate my comfort level really high. This has made my time at my mentorship more enjoyable, and it allows me to ask questions that I would never would have thought of and she gives me the answer.
  • What went well in this interview?  Why do you think so?  What do you still need to improve?  How do you know?  How will you go about it?
    • What went well in this interview is the information I got. I think this is because my mentor is very knowledgeable and is very open about everything I asked her.
