Blog 22: Independent Component 2

  • Include this statement: “I, John Della Penna, affirm that I completed my independent component which represents 30 hours of work.”
  • Cite your source regarding who or what article or book helped you complete the independent component.
    • Judge Sharon Bernal
  • Update your Independent Component 2 Log (which should be under your Senior Project Hours link)
    • Done
  • Explain what you completed.
    • What I did for my IC 2, is extra hours. There isn't a lot of things I can do with Workers' Compensation Law to help me further my knowledge.
  • Defend your work and explain the component's significance and how it demonstrates 30 hours of work.   Provide evidence (photos, transcript, art work, videos, etc) of the 30 hours of work.
    • This IC helped me be able to observe more hours at my mentorship. I was able to see new things and learn new terms that helped me advance my education farther for my senior project.
  • How did the component help you answer your EQ? Please include specific examples to illustrate how it helped.
    • This helped me answer my EQ by giving me more knowledge on how to logically answer my question. For example, I got to see a lawyer forget critical information that would have helped them win the case, but because he didn't communicate with the other lawyers, he missed out on that information.
